‘Blue Bloods’ season 5 spoilers: Danny faces another tough decision
CBS did a very unusual thing over the course of the past week when it comes to “Blue Bloods”: They actually released a sneak peek from an episode that is not the one immediately coming up.
The show’s first episode back following the holidays airs on Friday, January 2. This particular sneak peek below is from “Baggage,” the episode of the show airing on January 9. There are no significant spoilers within here, and so we still felt like it was very much a video worth sharing.
In the end, the subject matter for this story is going to be interesting, mostly because it brings to light another one of those trademark moral quandaries that we often find the characters in. With this one, we are dealing mostly with a robbery that was done by Army veterans, who were looking to use the money for a good cause. There is going to be a part of Danny that wants to pat them on the back for what they’ve done as a result; however, rules are still rules, and he cannot advocate breaking laws regardless what the cause is. This is the message that he wants to show and pass along to everyone else in his family.
In the end, we mostly hope that this story really does show off all of the intricacies that comes with such a human decision. You want to support the troops, especially if you are a veteran yourself; however, there are still times when a line is crossed, and you have to deal with those consequences.

This truly is a show worth watching. I agree its the best show on tv. Great acting. True to life. I only wish Jennifer Esposito was still in it. She was so fitting for the position. I loved the Marathon over the holidays. Thank you to all. Keep up the good work.
