‘The Americans’ season 3: New videos highlight Keri Russell, cast

If you love “The Americans,” odds are that you’ve been anxiously waiting for it to come back for some time. It takes the cake as one of the best shows that only a few discuss, and we wish that there was a way to boost that audience up somewhat.

Since we do not have the power of mind control, let’s focus our energy instead here on analyzing some of the newest promos for the show that were put out recent by FX. You can see them both right now at the bottom of this article.

“Critically Acclaimed” – This one mostly exists as a reminder that while viewership here may be small, it is one of the most-loved shows on TV for good reason. The strategy here is obviously to appeal to a high-brow audience who values what critics think of the show over anything else.

“Domestic Affairs” – This one is much more eye-grabby and fun. While we would understand the complaints that some may have over it being a little too bright and different in tone, you need the show to appeal to more mainstream fans from time to time. Plus, the imagery here is clever, and if it convinces more people to tune in come January 28, we still feel like that is something worth celebrating.
