ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 7 spoilers: Mysteries beyond for Stana Katic, Nathan Fillion, cast
While we’ve spoken a little bit about where “Castle” is going to end up when it returns to ABC on Monday, January 12, what about what comes beyond that date? Well, this article will be in part about piecing together some of that information by being a little bit of a detective ourselves.
The winter premiere, “Castle P.I.,” is going to be the introduction to seeing how Richard Castle (Nathan Fillion) adjusts to life not working for the police department. Suddenly, Kate Beckett (Stana Katic) goes from being a professional partner to a potential rival in solving the case. Given that they are married now, this should be fun.
As for what lies beyond that? Here are a few basic clues.
7×12 – The title here is “Private Eye Caramba,” and the general feeling is that this is the telenovela episode that may be one of our most-anticipate from the fun perspective.
7×13 – Presumably, this will air on Monday, January 26; if not, it will probably be on February 2. The title here is unknown, but this seems to be the installment featuring “Arrow” actress Audrey Marie Anderson.
7×14 / 7×15 – This is the two-parter, which was filming right leading up to the holiday break for the cast. Annie Wersching is back in her role as Dr. Kelly Nieman, and hopefully, this will be a continuation of the 3XK saga. As always, this is a part of the February sweeps.
Beyond that, this is largely a mystery still! The writers tend to stay hush-hush about what they are working on beyond the current season.

I’m looking for more of the pieces of the Castle mythology & his two month disappearance. I want to learn about what happened to him & the incident when he was a boy. I find the possible story intriguing.

T, the Castle mythology does not interest me at all but that doesn’t mean I don’t want you to get what you want. It just cannot be left hanging. I just hope they wrap it up quickly although if it is wrapped I have no notion of where they will or can go after.
it is just too farfetched and boring.

I am not sure how I will receive 7×11 and 7×12 because I dread that they will be silly. I am so tired of the silly. This show is capable of more than that. I love good humor but there is a difference between silly and funny.
I also am unsure about 7×13 since so far there are no hints as to what it will entail.
I will pin my hopes on 7×14 and 7×15. 3XK has delivered the intrigue, mystery and usually good story telling and good acting. That story is unfinished. The scenes between Annie Wersching and Stana Katic were so powerful and so memorable. They literally owned the interrogation room. I am looking forward to more of that as well as the 3xK character. Bring it on.

I wonder if any of these comments ever make it back to the show runner, writers, cast, etc. hopefully they do.
With regard to 3xk it has been over 7 months (9 if you count the time jump in January) since we have heard anything about him. I have pushed him to the back of my mind and forgotten about him. I would prefer that it stayed that way besides I heard that he got run over by a bus in Yonkers. With regard to Castle’s disappearance, all characters in the series have dismissed it for any further action and I prefer that it stay that way. After all it is totally different than Beckett’s mother’s murder and the Casket wedding it is really not important, even for Castle apparently, and nobody cares what made him as he is. He is what he is and will stay that way unless he seeks counseling (doubtful). I love Mash, Law and Order, NCIS, CSI, etc and they all had a long and successful series based on doing the same thing differently each week. Shame that the Castle show runner and writers can’t see this. Finally, who said that all love, intimacy, adventure, interesting family life, etc. had to end with marriage? Great cast with no help from the show runner and writers.

As far as I am concerned, they can skip the romance and intimacy scenes. When it is attempted it just comes off as awkward. Somebody seems to know little or nothing about onscreen lovemaking. I get embarrassed for those two.

Don’t worry, they don’t put romance into this show. We are now getting Kate being kissed on the cheek and Rick staring at exotic dancers in front of his new wife.
