‘Gotham’ episode 11 video: How does Bullock fare without Gordon?

The parade of new “Gotham” previews just keep coming courtesy of Fox, and for evidence of this very thing, we have another one for you below.

In this particular clip, you have something that we like to refer to as the complete evolution of Harvey Bullock as a character. When we first saw him on the show, he was a very crass, survivalist cop who had no real interest on doing anything that would interfere, or cause a danger to himself. He was so cautious that sometimes, it meant allowing some good people to be punished in the process.

However, the sneak peek below proves that he is much more of a risk-taker than he used to be, and there is one primary person to thank for that in James Gordon. With him now on the scene, we have a side of Bullock that is far more cavalier, and willing to at least go to bat for someone else. This is what we see him doing here within the walls of Arkham Asylum.

While there are not any guarantees that we are going to see Gordon beyond these walls of the Asylum anytime soon, if there is one person who could rescue him, it is Donal Logue’s character. He is one of the few friends he still has, who is willing to go that extra mile to recognize that there is some genuine goodness there.

New episodes of “Gotham” start early next month, and should carry through on the network for some time. Given that this is the biggest hit Fox has going right now, it should be staying put for a rather long while.
