‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 8: Kaley Cuoco recovering from sinus surgery

While there may not be any more new episodes of “The Big Bang Theory” airing in 2014, we do have some news now concerning one of its stars in Kaley Cuoco Sweeting.

In a post on her Instagram page, the actress confirmed that she has underwent a sinus procedure, and she attached a message to an image of herself alongside husband Ryan Sweeting:

“Coming out of sinus surgery and the first thing I see is my beautiful angel of a man, he’s right there. Always. He’s taking amazing care of me I love my noodle. He’s perfection.”

Ultimately, there is no reason to worry about Kaley’s health, or her future on the CBS sitcom. She should recover just fine, and be back at work in the new year. One thing that will probably aid especially in the recovery process is that for the most part, this show has a pretty easy production schedule compared to most other scripted content. The hours are shorter, and you get paid rather handsomely for the work. Cuoco may be one of the best-paid actresses on TV now thanks to a new contract she signed over the summer break.

As for “The Big Bang Theory” itself, new episodes are going to start airing again on the network come Thursday, January 8. Just as you would anticipate, we will have some further updates on the show as we get closer to this episode airing. For now, just know that Penny will have a big role in this first episode back, as she and Amy go dress shopping with Leonard and Sheldon looking on.
