‘Shark Tank’ revisited: BZBox, Baker’s Edge, Tie-Not, and Foot Fairy

The latest -Every now and then, we like to check back in on “Shark Tank” products many months after their episodes originally air, and do so when they come back around in the repeats.

Given that tonight’s episode is airing at such a slow time of the year, this felt like a golden opportunity. This is actually the season 5 finale that is coming on (at least per ABC’s schedule), and many of these products are actually worth looking at again for the sake of seeing how they are doing now.

Baker’s Edge – We don’t see any huge changes between now and then, but they seem active and like their products are selling. We always did like their lasagna and muffin pans, mostly because we’re all about ways to make good food even better.

Tie-Not – There may be some more products on their website now, and it feels like long-term, they may be the biggest success story. A device to tie water balloons is so simple, but over time, there may always be some sort of demand.

Foot Fairy – While there is still a website, there’s not much else about the company out there these days to report on that is new.

BZBox – The young entrepreneur behind this has been working on a variety of other projects, including a tank top that zips into a bag. You can watch a Kickstarter video on that below.

Looking back, we’re not sure that any of these products are going to be in the top 5 inventions ever shown on TV, but in terms of television, they did create some great moments in their presentations.
