‘Gotham’ episode 11 video: The Penguin pleads for help

While we have seen Oswald Cobblepot in a variety of different situations over the course of “Gotham” so far, there is a new one awaiting the character when the show returns in January: Prison. Based on the sneak peek below, this one is going to be especially fun.

In the new sneak peek video below, you can see the character (played by Robin Lord Taylor) getting quite the earful from Harvey Bullock, but it is really quite his own doing. You see, he’s the one that called Harvey over, so he has to be prepared for whatever the consequences are going to be as a result. Oswald makes some compelling arguments, at least in his mind, to let him speak to Maroni so that he can get himself out of this mess.

Unfortunately for him, Bullock merely likes looking at him sitting behind prison bars. Given that James Gordon is over at Arkham Asylum right now, this is not a man who has a wide array of allies that he can go to in order to seek out help.

Ultimately, it is far from a goal of ours to see the Penguin locked up forever, if for no other reason than that it really limits the amount of fun / crazy you can have him do on the show. You want that character out there causing trouble! Luckily, we cannot imagine him staying in his present predicament for very long.

We are going to have even more news related to “Gotham” at some point in the near future, so be sure to keep an eye open for that!
