‘Once Upon a Time’ season 4 spoilers: Hope for Belle, Rumpelstiltskin; more Robin Hood

Once -While it may be a day after Christmas, we like to think that there is still enough time to share a few new holiday treats when it comes to “Once Upon a Time.” Specifically, we are here to discuss a few assorted odds and ends pertaining to the show.

Let’s start, though, with what has to be considered one of key points of conversation: Whether or not there is any reason left to be hopeful for Belle and Rumpelstiltskin. During the winter finale, he seemed to prove, at least for the time being, that he does not have the capacity to be anything other than terrible. Will that change eventually? It’s possible, but it is not changing right now.

If nothing else, co-creator Edward Kitsis told Entertainment Weekly that if you are a fan of these characters, you should not give up hope on their future entirely:

“[They] should have help because this is a show about hope. The minute you lose hope, then nothing will happen.”

As for some other assorted odds and ends, Kitsis and fellow creator Adam Horowitz confirmed that there would be at least one Robin Hood flashback story, meaning that we will see more of Sean Maguire. Also, we are going to see the Sorcerer in the second half of the season, Will Scarlet will have more of a role, and there is a reason for Archie to be fearful for his dog Pongo, given that Cruella de Vil is now potentially heading to Storybrooke.
