‘Call the Midwife’ season 4, episode 1: Premiere date speculation for Helen George, cast

Trixie -Tonight, BBC One is airing the Christmas Special for “Call the Midwife,” and if you find yourself addicted to the series right now, we certainly understand if you are asking one question in particular: When is the show featuring Helen George and many more coming back in 2015?

Well, the network is not one who loves to announce premiere dates early, and with that in mind, they had not announced it prior to tonight’s special airing. With that in mind, we went into this episode thinking that one of two dates was going to be when we saw the show return for more: January 18 or January 25.

If there is one thing in general we can say to expect, it is more of what this show has traditionally given us. Namely, we are talking here about episodes that revolve around tough situations for the women in Nonnatus House to deal with. Many of them will make you emotional, and question how things were once like this.

Also, we do expect something at least a little more progressive to air. After all, we are entering the 1960s here!

We were hoping that after the Christmas Special, we were going to see some sort of teaser giving us a little bit of a better idea as to when the show would be back. Unfortunately, all we saw instead was a notice that it will be back “in the new year,” as expected.
