‘Chicago PD’ season 2 spoilers: When could Sophia Bush discuss Lindsay twist?

Let’s get the bad news out of the way here first and foremost: There is no new episode of “Chicago PD” airing on NBC tonight. Is that a bummer to hear about? Definitely.

However, we can at least tell you that the week the show returns to the network with new episodes, you are going to get a double-dose of star Sophia Bush. Odds are, you know already that the show returns on January 7, and with a story that should resolve what happens to her character of Lindsay with the task force … at least temporarily. The synopsis released recently makes it look like she’ll be sticking with the department for at least a little longer to work on a specific case.

Before this episode airs, though, you will get a chance to see Bush on NBC’s “Today Show.” The actress is scheduled to be on the morning show on Tuesday, January 6, and at some point between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00. She is supposedly on the show specifically to promote “Chicago PD,” so we do expect a question here or there about her character. With that being said, don’t expect anything too in-depth; this show has to appeal to a mainstream audience, and therefore the questions are often as vague and as drab as possible.

Given that there is still more than half of a season to go, you should at least go into the new year knowing that is you love Lindsay, Voight, or many of the Dick Wolf series’ other characters, you are going to have many more opportunities to enjoy watching them.
