‘Once Upon a Time’ season 4 spoilers: Flashbacks for many characters

More than likely, you probably assumed that the second half of “Once Upon a Time” season 4 would contain many flashbacks, if for no other reason than what we have heard already.

So who are some characters you can looking for specifically in some flashbacks? According to TVLine, expect in particular stories revolving around Snow and Charming, Captain Hook, Ursula, and how Regina and Maleficent met in the first place. Some of these are stories you probably saw coming; for example, the Regina – Maleficent has been teased somewhere before, and the casting of Ursula’s father recently suggested that we would be finding out a whole lot more information all about her.

Also worth noting here is that based on the Sebastian Roche casting announced recently, we’ll also be likely seeing more of how Aurora and Maleficent ended up becoming foes in this world. The thing to remember here is that while this show does borrow heavily at times from fairy tales and/or Disney, they tend to put their own twist on things. The “Frozen” arc is really the only time that they were very true to the source material, but probably had very little flexibility here given that the movie was so recent, and Disney probably did not want to confuse anyone.

As for Snow and Charming, the one question we have right now is this: How many more stories can they have that are pertinent to modern times? It would be odd to find out something enormous that we did not know previously, mostly because you would think it would have come up at some point.
