‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 8 spoilers: Check out a miserable Leonard, Sheldon

When “The Big Bang Theory” returns with new episodes on January 8, we can now say one thing with confidence: Leonard and Sheldon are not going to be the happiest campers in the world.

What’s at the heart of this? Well, it is basically a case of Leonard decided that the two should do something that his longtime roommate would never want to do in a billion years: Go dress shopping with Penny and Amy. It doesn’t matter that Sheldon is in a relationship with Amy; we don’t think it really matters if someone had a blade to his neck. There are about a billion things that Sheldon would rather do.

Then again, the photo above suggests that Leonard himself may be regretting this choice. After all, this seems to be a nice thing in theory, but it can be rather dull after a while. We’re just surprised that these two guys, being that they are so technologically-minded, are not a little more prepared for something like this. You have to bring your iPhones, your gaming devices, or at least something to occupy your time. You could be there a while, and for these two in particular, they cannot offer up much fashion advice.

Still, their pain leads to our pleasure, right? There should at least be some pretty solid laughs that come out of watching this particular story play out, or at least we can hope so.
