‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 6 video: Ian Somerhalder takes on some ‘questions’

Even though there may not be any new episodes at the moment of “The Vampire Diaries,” that does not mean that our news completely stops!

In the video below, for example, you can get a chance to have a little bit of fun courtesy of a man who always loves to put on the charm a little bit: Ian Somerhalder. He answers some fun questions in the video below about everything from secrets, how many times he has died on the show, to what sort of puppy he would be. This entire video is made a little bit funnier thanks to Paul Wesley seemingly speaking up from somewhere just beyond the camera lens.

These videos are something that almost every major cast member from every show on The CW has taken part in (at least the ones from the house of Julie Plec), but we still for the most part find them endearing. One of the reasons that The CW succeeds as a network is because they really do a good job of connecting their stars to their viewers. They feel like they know people like Ian and Paul, and want to root for them both on the show as well as off.

As for when you will see these guys back on TV again, the second part of season 6 starts up Thursday, January 22. One thing to definitely be on the lookout for here? Damon continuing to figure out just what it is he and Elena really have.
