‘Longmire’ season 4 notes: Updates on Katee Sackhoff, Lou Diamond Phillips, Bailey Chase, Adam Bartley

Vic -Happy holidays to all of the “Longmire” posse out there! This has been such a crazy year for the show, and one that we’ve been happy to be a part of covering.

It’s been a while since we’ve had anything recent report on, and much of that is due to the predicted break period following the announcement that Netflix had picked up the show for a fourth season. Production does not begin for a few more months, so this is a chance for the cast to take on other projects, and for the writers to start preparing themselves, as well.

We thought before Christmas rolled around that we’d at least give you a few little updates about what some of the cast members have been up to for the time being.

Adam Bartley – We have not had a chance to listen to it yet, but the Ferg himself made an appearance on the Tom Barnard Show late last week. It’s an hour-long podcast that you can listen to here; if you want, we always think of podcasts as the perfect listening companion while you wrap presents or prepare the holiday feast.

Bailey Chase – While we await the fate of Branch on the show, Chase has been working on a project entitled “The Chaplain.” Chase also has an arc on “Chicago PD” that is going to continue on Wednesday, January 7.

Katee Sackhoff – Katee worked on a film project a little earlier this fall, and has been promoting recently her new calendar with her fellow former “Battlestar Galactica” co-star Tricia Helfer. You can buy one here, and watch a new behind-the-scenes video about the making of the calendar at this link. (FYI: If your boss is somewhat of a prude, we probably wouldn’t watch it at work.)

Lou Diamond Phillips – The man behind Henry Standing Bear has been working on a new project, and just because it is the holiday season and we love food, why not take a look ath a pie photo below?

We’ll surely have more “Longmire” news either later this month or early in the new year, and you can check some of what out as always at the link here. Also, be sure to sign up now to get some further TV scoop on everything we cover via our CarterMatt Newsletter. (Photo: Netflix.)
