‘Major Crimes’ season 3, episode 16 preview: What lies ahead for Rusty storyline?

While most of your other favorite shows are still airing repeats (or are not even on at all) next week, we come bearing some good news: There will be something worth checking out when it comes to “Major Crimes“! Another installment entitled “Leap of Faith” will air at its regular time on TNT, and this is going to be a particularly interesting episode for the Rusty character.

This is a show that has really discussed the Rusty story at length as of late, especially when it comes to the pressures of this character to come out, even if he is in an environment that is more positive than what he has been in most of his life. Maybe that will change on tonight’s holiday episode; that remains to be seen.

Meanwhile, the official synopsis for next week teases that Rusty may end up facing parts of his past again, while at the same time there is another case on the docket with plenty of shocking moments within. Take a look below:

“Flynn tries to negotiate with a man holding on to the ledge of a bridge, only to discover horrifying information about the jumper. Meanwhile, old wounds surface when Rusty prepares an impact statement.”

We appreciate that the show is continuing to air new episodes right now even in the wake of it being the holidays, and hopefully, that is something that is going to continue as we get deeper within the show’s run on TNT.
