‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 2 spoilers: Will Ichabod, Katrina try to make things work?
What comes next for Ichabod and Katrina on “Sleepy Hollow” season 2? Well, let’s just say that we are going to see the two characters try to at least make an effort to have this relationship continue in some capacity.
Despite their clear tension when it comes to the handling of Abraham, their child, and also that whole problem known as the Apocalypse, the upcoming 13th episode of the show is actually going to see the two getting … romantic? The photo above (via TVLine) suggests that they will be on a date, trying to figure out how to make romance work in the modern era.
It is precisely the time period that we suspect being one of the biggest issues for these two characters so far, given that they were used to being together in the 18th century. Clearly, a whole lot has changed since that time. They are both trying to get used to modern life now; not only that, but Katrina was thrown into a world that Ichabod already came to know, and while there may not be anything romantic going on between him and Abbie, the two do still have some sort of connection that comes out of where fate has placed them.
New episodes of “Sleepy Hollow” season 2 will begin airing in January, and hopefully by the end of this season, we are going to have some more information in regards to what happens with Tom Mison and Katia Winter’s characters.

Ugh, I don’t think I can take more of this Katrina crap. I have zero interest in watching this deathly dull character work out her marital issues. Worse, she manages to make Ichabod boring in association. Can we please get back to fighting monsters and staving off the apocalypse now? Or if we want to focus on character development, can we spend some time learning about the other witness. You remember, the one not named Crane. We’ve learned so much about Ichabod’s past, but hardly anything about Abbie this season except for the single, solitary Mama episode. A year and a half in with Moloch dead, we still don’t know what happened in the woods to the Mills sisters or why Abbie was chosen as a witness, but we apparently we have plenty of time for date night with the Cranes. Wtf? Show, I loved you last season, but you are losing me.

No, this crap is boring as hell, nobody cares about their marriage problems. I care about the witnesses fighting the apocolypse not much else. It’s like Crane’s Landing 2014 edition now.

Yes, I want to see Ichabod & Katrina work things out. They deserve that as their love was interrupted & put on hold for centuries. Now that love can help them through the tensions of stopping the Apocolypse (although adjusting to modern day life at the same time is a tension all its own). Abbie is Crane’s designated CO-WITNESS in the fight, not a romantic or life partner!

I’ll try to remember that Abbie is Cranes co witness when he goes against Abbie and sides with his beloved wife in yet another decision that has to be made.

Yes, the wife who consistently lied and/or withheld the truth from him. And who, apparently, has some rather complicated feelings for her husband’s former best friend… The one who tried to kill him repeatedly.

So true, they always seem to forget that bit of information. The relationship is dysfunctional and not healthy at all.

Not many people care if they work their marriage, much less see it played out on screen. Without the main focus being on Abbie and Crane, as witnesses, there is no show. I doubt that many will stick around to watch a boring romance. Yeah, it seems that the show will be renewed for a 3rd season, but at the rate it is going, it is liable to be cancelled, before or after, next years mid season finale. People will start tuning out. Katrina and Ichabod are just plain boring, together. No substance there at all. But hey, if that is what floats your boat, by all means enjoy the soap.
