‘Switched at Birth’ season 4: Prepare for premiere with lengthy recap

For those of you waiting eagerly for the return of “Switched at Birth” to ABC Family, have no fear: January 6 is not that far away!

While we do not have any new details about what sort of story is coming up on the network, we do have in the video below a little bit of something different, but very much welcome: A video recap. In case you happened to miss a few important details here and there about season 3, this is a nice way to catch up. It details everything from the end of Bay and Tank to the death of Angela to Daphne’s downward spiral. Also, it teases that big cliffhanger at the end of the season, where Bay seemed to make the big decision to take the fall for what happened to her “swister.”

Moving into next season, the obvious question here is whether or not Daphne is going to let Bay make this sort of huge sacrifice for her. She knows that with a criminal record like this, she could be running the risk of never getting into medical school and becoming a doctor. Meanwhile, this would limit some of what Bay wants to do in her life.

This moment is just the tip of the iceberg for this season, given that we also have to deal with life after graduation for many of these characters, as they start to think about college, relationships, and what their lives could hold looking far into the future.
