‘Chicago PD’ season 2, episode 10 spoilers: Will Sophia Bush’s Lindsay be gone?

Chicago PD -We know that there are many “Chicago PD” fans who have been worried about the future of Erin Lindsay for some time, and we come now bearing some good news: If she does end up leaving the department to join the task force, she will not be doing it right away.

The upcoming January 7 return of the show is going to be titled “Shouldn’t Have Been Alone,” and when it comes to Lindsay specifically, a good bit of the focus here is going to be revolving around how she as a character decides to hold back in order to help the PD with one more case. Meanwhile, Burgess’ recovery is also going to be a key point of interest, as her colleagues will do what they can in order to bring the guilty party to justice.

For a few more details right now, just be sure to check out the full synopsis:

” With Burgess (Marina Squerciati) in the hospital after suffering gunshot wounds, the intelligence team is determined to find the people responsible. Lindsay (Sophia Bush) delays her start so she can help with this case. Search of the house provides a lead and when a bomb is triggered a key suspect is found. Meanwhile the team takes turns watching over Burgess. Voight (Jason Beghe) informs Burgess of a new opportunity that this affords her.”

One thing that we would advise you on here is that in the event that Lindsay does decide to leave, we hardly see that as any sort of suggestion that she is going to be gone from the department forever, or that the show will stop focusing on her. Regardless of everything surrounding her, we suspect she will be a part of the show for a long time.
