‘Gotham’ spoilers: A variety of characters lie ahead

“Gotham” may not return to TV until next month, but why wait that long to find out some more about new characters that are coming about the show.

Earlier this week, we learned a little bit more about Leslie Thompkins’ arrival on the show, and now, we are set to introduce a pair of new characters into the mix moving forward into the 17th episode of the season.

According to TVLine, the show is casting Dr. Dulmacher, a character whose name is simple enough for you to understand that the show is going down a route similar to the Dollmaker. Also, there is another man named Reggie Payne who Alfred knows from his days in the army, which is probably where he learned how to kick so much butt and take names. With this being said, there is something more from Payne than what you are initially going to see on the surface. Let’s just say that it is worth watching out for.

If were were one of the folks working behind the scenes at “Gotham” right now, one of the things that we would be strongly considering at the moment is figuring out how in the world we can incorporate some new, surprising characters into this crazy show family without compromising the comic books. It is a difficult challenge, but one that we are pretty sure that they will find a way to match over time.

Let’s face it here: “Gotham” is almost definitely a lock for a renewal. There is no reason for Fox to consider doing anything other than renewing the show.
