‘Two and a Half Men’ season 12, episode 9 preview: Return date, more for Ashton Kutcher, cast

Tonight’s “Two and a Half Men” episode capped the story for 2014, and come early next year, the show will be back around to cap off what will be its run after 12 seasons.

The first episode back airs on Thursday, January 8, and the first thing that we can say to expect here is more Lyndsey! Alan’s longtime sort-of-love is back in the picture again, and to go along with that, Walden is also going to realize further what sort of trouble he has keeping his dating life a secret with his foster son in the picture. Take a look at the synopsis below:

“Walden discovers how challenging it is to be intimate with women when his foster son, Louis, is in the house.  Also, Herb asks Alan if he can go on a date with Lyndsey.”

This story has made a real effort to tell much more of a long-term story, and with that in mind, it seems fitting to now ask this question: When in the world is the truth going to come out about Ashton Kutcher’s character and his fake relationship? Well, let’s just say that it will be sooner rather than later. This cat is going to be out of the bag well before the series finale.

Just for those curious, this episode is also going to feature the return of Laurel, the love interest character that we saw with Walden a little bit earlier this season.
