‘Once Upon a Time’ season 4 spoilers: Eion Bailey books return as Pinocchio

Do you love Pinocchio on “Once Upon a Time“? Then you are probably going to love this news, even if we are not entirely sure how we feel about it.

Sources confirm that Eion Bailey is going to reprise his role as the character, otherwise known as August W. Booth, for at least one other episode airing in the second half of this season. While this is interesting news, given all of the speculation among fans long ago that he could be the Author of the storybook, there is one important question worth asking: How is this going to happen?

There are a few things to remember here. One, the character is not exactly around anymore in this form. We last saw Pinocchio at the end of season 2, where he was transported into the body of a young boy after Tamara kills August.

Also, this was not a character around in the Enchanted Forest, at least not played by Bailey. That was still when he was a creation, a wooden puppet. Therefore, there are limited possibilities as to how he could be coming back.

1. Maybe the producers are going to be bringing in some flashbacks about August’s life to inform one of the new characters, such as the Queens of Darkness.

2. Or, maybe the producers are finding a way to bring the man back from the dead. Let’s not act like this would be the first time that something like this happened on TV.
