‘Better Call Saul’ spoilers: Latest teaser video contains another phone trick

You have to love what AMC is doing right now in their commitment to having “Better Call Saul” be one of the most-anticipated shows of 2015. While they are not doing much when it comes to giving away story secrets, they are doing a great job reminding everyone that February 8 really is not that far into the future anymore.

In the video below, you can get a quick look at the latest campaign from AMC, and this one is a nice reminder that Saul Goodman has a strange affinity for brightly-colored clothing. Namely, it seems to be most, if not all, of what the man wears.

Probably the best thing about the teaser is that it shows a phone number near the end, and if you call it, it will give you a voice message featuring Saul’s voice. This is certainly clever, and much preferred to the whole generic “555” thing that most TV shows out there tend to do.

What sort of craziness do we expect from this series as a whole? We know that it will be mostly a prequel to the early days of Saul as an attorney, but it is possible that Saul’s future after the events of “Breaking Bad” could also be referenced at some point. Given that the show already has two seasons, the producers, led by Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, know that there is no reason to hurry into any story.
