‘Once Upon a Time’ season 4 spoilers: Possible pain ahead for Maleficent
While we still don’t entirely understand the makeover for Maleficent, and how we are seeing her on “Once Upon a Time” given where she was earlier in the show’s run, we suppose that all of this is all that relevant compared to what does matter: How she is going to collide and deal with some of the other characters on the ABC series moving forward.
One thing that you can expect from this character could take you by surprise; while she may be evil, she also has the propensity to be hurt very much. You’ll get a better chance to see that the second half of this season, per what executive producer Edward Kitsis told The Hollywood Reporter:
“I would say she is probably the most dangerous. But what Regina did to her is secondary to what someone else did to her. And that we’re going to explain pretty quickly. And it will be, probably, someone you didn’t expect.”
For those curious, Kitsis adds in this interview that there is a larger role ahead for Michael Socha as Will Scarlet / the Knave. While he was introduced in the first half of the season, it was sporadic, and we still do not entirely understand who he is in this world, or what he really wants.
As for Will’s onetime mentor in Robin Hood, let’s just say that Sean Maguire may be returning to the show at some point, also. Given the relationship that he has with Regina, it is fair to say that these two characters are not going to be separated forever. Unfortunately for Regina, nothing is ever that easy for her.
