‘Blue Bloods’ season 5 spoilers: Frank tries to close an old case
When the first half of “Blue Bloods” season 5 ended on CBS last week, we sadly were not able to offer up many details about what was going to be coming up moving forward.
Well, we are pleased to say that we finally have some of those said details right now! The show’s return on Friday, January 2 carries with it the title of “Sins of the Father,” and if you look below, you can see the official synopsis below:
“Frank pushes to find evidence against a suspected cop killer who shot one of Henry’s fellow officers years ago. Meanwhile, Danny and Baez investigate a string of murders involving adult film stars.”
Given that this show is airing on CBS, we’re somewhat surprised that the Danny / Baez story is what it is for this show. As for the other part of it, let’s just say that this is going to be a good story that at least offers up some more information on Frank’s past. Anytime that we can have that, we are always going to be pretty happy.
As for what to do to get through the wait, our advice is simple: Either check out some old episodes, or maybe recommend the show to a few more people. This is not exactly a show in danger, but some more viewers never hurts!
We are going to have more news related to “Blue Bloods” as this story gets a little closer to airing, so stay tuned for more when it comes to that.

What? First half of the season? So how many episodes are we having? 16? That’s too little…
