‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 2 spoilers: Should you fear Daisy Johnson?

The end of the “Agents of SHIELD” winter finale on Tuesday definitely produced a game-changer, and arguably the biggest one since the show began: Skye is actually Daisy Johnson! More specifically, she is a part of a race known as the Inhumans who are eventually going to be a huge part of Stage 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

So how should the rest of the team react to this new side of the character? Well, let’s just say that there is a reason Cal said that people come come to fear her. Speaking about this subject to Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Jed Whedon passed along the following message:

“He has his reasons for saying that … Maybe it’s based on experience. We’ll learn that he’s obviously a crazy person, but a lot of what he says isn’t that crazy.”

Hopefully, the majority of the second part of the season will include some more teases on Skye’s mythology, where she comes from, and just how this could all be useful to figuring out where her story could go moving forward.

Unfortunately, the wait moving forward is still a long one. New episodes of “Agents of SHIELD” season 2 will begin come March 3, and in the interim, the one way to keep yourself entertained is by watching Marvel’s ambitious new “Agent Carter.” This will give you an opportunity to see things from a different set of eyes, and not to mention a different era to go along with it.
