‘State of Affairs’ episode 5 preview: Can an interview be stopped?

State of Affairs -While there may not be a whole lot of new content up Monday night, we do have good news for fans of NBC’s “State of Affairs“: Another new episode is coming up on Monday night.

This particular installment is one that promises to pose more questions about freedom of speech, freedom of the press, and whether or not interviews can be used in order to rally potential terrorist attacks. This is the situation that President Payton is forced to deal with in this episode, and it already looks like she is going to do everything in her power to put a stop to it.

Will she be successful in keeping the interview to air? This may be a job for Charleston, who already has quite a bit of other problems to deal with.

By the end of this episode, hopefully we are going to have more in the way of answers here … though we are probably not going to get all of them. After all, there is at least one other episode that will be airing following this one, and that could be the real test of this particular show’s mettle. After all, it will not have the luxury of airing after “The Voice” for the first time, and that may have been one of the reasons it had solid numbers in the first place.

Basically, we feel like that and subsequent episodes could be great signs as for whether or not Katherine Heigl and company last beyond this season.
