‘The Flash’ spoilers: Robbie Amell presents new tease of Firestorm costume
During the winter finale of “The Flash” on The CW this week, we at least got a tiny taste of just what the Firestorm character can do.
Now, we have a better idea of what his costume is ultimately going to look like. Robbie Amell, who has recurred on the show already as Ronnie Raymond, posted the image on his Instagram account. It looks pretty cool based on what we can see here, and it reminds us almost of the costume that Firestorm has in the New 52 series.
If nothing else, we know that the production team works very hard on making sure that these costumes are great. A whole lot of work was put into Barry Allen’s suit long before revealing it, and we know that “Arrow” has had its hands full this year designing new costumes for Arsenal, Black Canary, and The Atom, which is still to be revealed.
In the end, all of this still is practice for the costumes that are still very much to come on this show. Remember here that Cisco and Caitlin both have other roles in the comics, and while it is not entirely clear if they will ever adopt them here, it is something that does have to be considered.
“The Flash” will return, with hopefully more Firestorm, on Tuesday, January 20.
