‘Two and a Half Men’ season 12, episode 7 review: Walden’s relationship gets far more complicated

Louis -Tonight, “Two and a Half Men” had an episode that focused on a significant issue when it comes to the long-term story: Is Walden going to handle a fake relationship with Alan long-term?

Well, the thing that we learned on tonight’s new episode is that things for Ashton Kutcher’s character are about to become so much more difficult for him than they were previously. After all, he let one more person in on his marriage secret, and it is really someone he does not know particularly well: A mom he met named Laurel.

Obviously, the two had a great connection. The two care about each other, and they are each looking to fill a void in their lives. The issue here is that if he ever makes her mad, and she is turns out to be a terrible person, she could go and report on him and have Louis taken away. That would be a super-dark story for this show, and we don’t think they would push it this far. Still, that is something that does have to be considered here in the wake of everything that is happening.

The rest of the episode was … well, “Two and a Half Men.” There were jokes about bodily functions, Alan really enjoyed pretending to be gay around women, and also there were jokes about sex and cartoon characters. There was not exactly anything in here that reinvented the wheel, but if you like the show, you probably liked this. The one thing we’re missing out on right now is Jenny, Alan’s mother, and many other familiar faces. Grade: C+.
