‘The Fall’ season 2, episode 6 (finale) spoilers: Jamie Dornan, Gillian Anderson reach the showdown
What is going to happen when Gibson and Spector collide on “The Fall“? This has been a question for most of the season, but after some slow episodes, things are starting to truly reach a peak.
Next week’s finale bears the challenge of trying to tie together this story, especially since the future of this show is unclear. While the ratings may be very solid for BBC Two, you’ve got two actors here in Gillian Anderson and Jamie Dornan who are certainly busy with some other projects.
We don’t want to waste a whole lot more time here. With that in mind, take a look at the official synopsis below for some details in terms of what to expect:
“Gibson’s investigation leads her to Spector’s lair, but there is no sign of Rose Stagg (Valene Kane). Increasingly desperate to find Rose, Gibson instructs her team to step up the interviews with Katie (Aisling Franciosi), Sally Ann (Bronagh Waugh) and Paul Spector.
“However, it is only when Spector makes a final play to remain in control that Gibson is offered any sort of answers. As Gibson and Spector finally come face-to-face, both have a chance to look in the eyes of their nemesis, and both have their own battles to win.”
We feel like tonight is really when Paul’s past really started to catch up with him, and we realized just how many different mistakes that the man has made. All of these are going to shape the end of this particular series, and we don’t exactly feel like anyone is necessarily safe.
We’ll have more news on this big episode leading up to it, so our last bit of advice to you right now is simple: Stay tuned.
