‘Chicago PD’ season 2, episode 10 preview: Is Sophia Bush’s Lindsay leaving? Also, return date
We’ve seen quite a few storylines unfold throughout the second season of “Chicago PD,” whether we are talking about ones featuring Erin Lindsay getting job offers, Voight working secretly with Internal Affairs, or a crossover that brought the team together with the Special Victims Unit in New York City.
Trust us when we say that there is still plenty to come, but NBC is going to make us wait for a little while. Wednesday, January 7 is when the next new episode of the show returns, and you will have some further answers to some of the biggest cliffhangers … starting with one related to Sophia Bush’s character.
Is Lindsay really gone? We have a very hard time thinking that given how popular the characters is. Also, NBC has been relentless in their promotion of her all season long with that whole “Women Crush Wednesday” campaign, and it seems rather useless that they would do that, only for them to turn around and remove her from the series.
Trust us when we say that we’re pretty confident that we have not seen the last of her character on the show. If nothing else, this could be a really interesting shakeup! It could give the characters an opportunity to refocus and give more value to what she brings to the table, since she does bring a lot and seems to be under estimated more then she should be.
What we can really say for now is that this show is putting in the work to surprise us and it seems that they aren’t afraid to take some risks. We just have to wait and see if they end up delivering with the end product.
What do you want to see on the remainder of “Chicago PD” this season? Share some of your thoughts with a comment.

Chicago PD was never about Lindsay; it was about Jason Voight. I think NBC might come up with quad show: Chicago PD, Chicago Fire, SVU, and Lindsay’s own show (Fed task Force) because she is so popular. NBC will go crossover between 4 shows. More shows could bring more Revenue to the NBC. NBC did not know how popular she might become.

I’m thinking that Lindsay will stay after all, and my guess is that her reason will have something to do with the case involving Burgess’ being shot in the cliffhanger… we’ll just have to stay tuned! {:-)

I highly doubt she leaves the show I don’t think they would do a spin-off with that show.

I love Sophia Bush and detective Lindsay , I would hate to see her character really go . She’s one of the main reasons on why I watch chicago pd , she’s the main character so I hope she’s not gone for good !

This is the opportunity that has been needed for Halstead to act on the feelings he has for Lindsay in the show. He believes she’s leaving, so he makes his move to begin a relationship with her. She can’t be gone long, so it will cause a new situation in the show.

I think it is a way to start a new show; Chicago Fire, Chicago PD and now Chicago Task Force….
