‘Arrow’ season 3 winter finale spoilers: Prepare for enormous shocks
The “Arrow” season 3 finale is coming on The CW Wednesday night, and based on what we are hearing more and more about now, this is going to be one that leaves you on the edge of your seat.
Obviously, you for one are going to have that massive, extreme, and hopefully-awesome shirtless battle between Oliver Queen and Ra’s al Ghul, a moment that is meant to pay homage to some classic battles between Batman and Ra’s from the comic books.
Guggenheim confirms this connection in a chat with TVLine about this episode (entitled “The Climb”), and also makes it clear that if you enjoy jaw-dropping TV, this will give you that and then some:
“So many big things happen that Episode 10 was designed to just deal with the aftershocks. And when you need an entire episode to deal with fallout, you know that quite a bit has happened!”
Hopefully, this will eventually mean that there is a real show for the CW superhero contingent to continue their winning streak. Last night, we had a chance to see “The Flash” conclude its run on the network for 2014, and it had a story that was definitely epic and then some. The “Arrow” winter finale therefore has its own hopes set a little high.
One other thing to remember here is that Dinah Lance is back for this episode, and that may mean that Laurel is suddenly going to have a very hard time keeping her secret just that.
