‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 2 spoilers: ‘Ray Donovan’ guest cast in spellbinding role
There are more and more surprises coming up on “Sleepy Hollow” season 2, and we’ve got at least the latest dose of insight right now into what you can expect.
According to a report coming in tonight from Give Me My Remote, former “Star-Crossed” and “Ray Donovan” guest actor Johnathon Schaech has been cast in the upcoming episode “Spellcaster,” and will specifically play the role of Silas Kent. This is a former puritan minister who somehow, has eventually transitioned his way into becoming a super-powerful warlock.
Basically, this means that Ichabod Crane and Abbie Mills have something else to be worried about when the show returns in January.
“Sleepy Hollow” has done a tremendous job throughout this second season of continuing to give us memorable stories in characters, and the main criticism has been that there has perhaps been a little too much going on, especially with the Crane family.
Therefore, we’re really hoping that with the move made by Henry during the midseason finale, we are going to have a chance to see some stability. If nothing else, we want to be able to take a few deep breaths and focus in on just a smaller handful of villains. If this Silas turns out to be just that, then we’ll be happy. We miss at times some of the overall theme of the show’s first season on Fox.
We are going to have some further scoop as we get closer to when the show comes back on the air, so check back for some of that!
