‘Arrow’ season 3 spoilers: Prepare to see Ray Palmer in action!
While we have the midseason finale of “Arrow” airing on The CW tomorrow night, we’re actually going to look beyond that towards the second half of this season in this article.
Specifically, we are talking here about a man in Ray Palmer who we rather like. While he may be a personal and professional rival for Oliver Queen, what remains interesting about him is that he’s not exactly a villain. We know that he is working on something with that suit, and we also know that he has at least been fitted for some sort of costume already that is being hyped up as one of the coolest things the show has ever made. (For now, we give you again a shirtless Brandon Routh photo.)
Also, we can give you some further confirmation here that both Ray and just about everyone else on the show is going to get more involved in kicking butt and taking names moving into the second half of the season. Executive producer Marc Guggenheim basically confirms as such in a chat with E! News:
“There are going to be some things happening in Starling City in the second half of the year that pretty much affect all of our characters … I don’t think anyone really comes away from the events unscathed, both physically and emotionally.”
While we know that Oliver / Felicity ‘shippers may continued to be worried about the guy getting in the way of their desired pairing, the one bit of advice we can give you right is to not worry too much. What is great about Ray is that he may force Oliver’s hands when it comes to his feelings; as a matter of fact, we’ve already seen evidence of that happening.
