‘Supernatural’ season 10, episode 9 preview: A longer look at the Crowley storyline
Tuesday night will mark the winter finale for “Supernatural,” and if there is one thing we can expect to see unfold over the course of this hour, it is some super-fun stuff from Crowley and Rowena.
After all, what did you expect starting from when we learned about Crowley’s lineage? Having his mother present is a big change for him, and it is probably going to be a lot of fun for us to watch.
Of course, it is fair to say and then some that the relationship between Rowena and Crowley has not always been the best, but as Ruth Connell says while previewing this episode to TVLine, that is a big part of why this story is ultimately so much fun for her to take on:
“There’s a lot of water under the bridge. But, in essence, that’s the fun of it. You know what it’s like with your own parents or relatives. No matter how accomplished you are in the world, when you go home, you’re still the daughter. You become the teenager again. It’ll be interesting to see what aspects of Crowley come out in the presence of his mom. We’re all slightly reduced back to our childhoods when we are with our parents.”
Given that Tuesday marks the winter finale for the show, we imagine that there is going to be some sort of cliffhanger somewhere. Either it could be about this story, or it could tie back in to Dean and his efforts to completely eradicate himself finally of that dreaded Mark of Cain.
