‘The Blacklist’ season 2: Megan Boone on James Spader’s charm, secret of show

The Blacklist logo any seasonWhile there may not be any new episodes of “The Blacklist” airing on NBC until Super Bowl Sunday, you don’t have to wait that long to see Megan Boone on TV! The actress made an appearance this past week on “Live! with Kelly and Michael,” and she talked about a couple of interesting subjects.

First and foremost, she touched on the notion that working with James Spader could be scary, mostly because of his presence and her overall body of work. What did she say about it? Basically, that even though this may not be an easy thing to think about at first without getting nervous, eventually some of your thoughts and fears start to wither away a little bit:

“The idea of James Spader is intimidating … He was so charming and nice to me the moment we met.”

From here, the show basically then pulls one of our current pet peeves, and that is asking the same question that every talk show with limited knowledge of the series asks: Are we going to ever learn the truth about Liz and Red’s relationship? Megan’s answer to this is pretty clever, though we also imagine that she has been asked this question so many times at this point that she has probably had a good bit of time by now to really perfect this.

“The Blacklist” is still filming new episodes, especially since there is a pretty extended run of them coming up in the new year. After the show has its Super Bowl episode, it will then be moving into a new time Thursday nights at 9:00 p.m. Eastern.
