‘Survivor: San Juan del Sur’ episode 13 video: How will Natalie cover her tricks?
At the end of Wednesday night’s “Survivor: San Juan del Sur,” Natalie made what was one of her riskier moves of the entire season in voting out Alec rather than Keith. Personally, we did not love the move, mostly because she was putting a target on her when she didn’t really need to. If she was going to make a big move, which she really wanted to make, we would have tried to get rid of Jaclyn and weaken Jon significantly.
The good thing when it comes to Natalie, though, is that she has shown to be a pretty good player throughout the season, and we’re not going to say that everyone else surrounding her is necessarily brilliant. At around the hour mark of the “Survivor Live” video below, you can see a discussion take place between Natalie and her alliance where she tries to just lie her butt off about what happened. Specifically, she says that she misunderstood the plan, since there were so few conversations about it.
Will this work? It’s possible, but we imagine that at least one person within these four will probably doubt her. Therefore, the #1 thing that she can do at this point to spare herself and keep going strong in the game is make sure that she plays her idol at the next tribal council just in case, and try to make sure that she wins immunity. If this happens, maybe you can at least get rid of Jon or Jaclyn, and try to gauge who has his immunity idol.
There’s also another wrinkle in this if Missy’s injury (teased in the promos) removes her from the game. In that case, it actually helps Natalie, since another close tie to Jon is gone.

Why the heck did they all not go for Jon’s girlfriend, Jac, after they were unable to vote him out??? Break up that alliance!
