‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 5 spoilers: Creator Marlene King on eventual end, Mona’s will
Tuesday night, the wait is over “Pretty Little Liars” fans! You’ve been patient for the past three months or so, and the Christmas Special will arrive and hopefully delight / surprise you every step of the way.
There is one part of this episode that has not been reported too extensively just yet, and we do feel like it is certainly more than important: Mona actually made a will, and there is something in it that is going to be important to Hanna. Speaking about this subject in a new chat with TVLine, creator Marlene King explained the logic behind Mona even thinking about this at such an early age:
“She was thinking ahead … and Mona knew there was a chance she would meet her demise. She had to plan accordingly.”
For those who want to think about things that are coming up a whole lot further down the road, King also commented on how you are going to see the story take the Liars and everyone else on a variety of different forks in the road over the next couple of years. They do have something close to a definitive end in mind to the story, but there are a number of crazy things that could happen before then:
“We have a roadmap that takes [the girls] all the way to the end of Season 7, the major milestones. It’s exciting to fill in the blanks along the way as they meet different characters. We’re open to flexibility, but in terms of where they end up in the show, we know that.”
