NBC’s ‘The Voice’: DaNica Shirey, Ryan Sill, and Luke Wade on elimination

Voice -

We cannot say that we are that surprised by the eliminations from “The Voice” Tuesday night, mostly because of the fact that DaNica Shirey, Ryan Sill, and Luke Wade were all pacing far behind in terms of iTunes sales.

With this being said, we do continue to find it sad anytime that contestants are eliminated from the competition, especially three out of eight. We never liked it when the show cuts so much of the competition away in one night, even with this new wild-card twist that could complicate things come finale time.

As we’ve done all season long, we wanted to at least give you some parting words from all three artists, who of course all going to keep grinding. It is really hard to figure out who of these three will be the most successful after the fact, since so much of it is about finding the one or two people who can really work with you to ensure that you are a success after the show. For example, RaeLynn was not in the final two on her season, but she has managed to develop a great rapport with Blake Shelton and his wife Miranda Lambert. Not only that, but she has a hit song on country radio.

Out of the remaining five contestants, it feels pretty assured that the favorite right now is Matt McAndrew based on iTunes receipts. Still, we are early enough in the season for there to be a few more curveballs that could come in, and really shake up the proceedings all over again.
