‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’ episode 8 preview: ‘Blood Bath’ run time and more
For all who love “American Horror Story: Freak Show,” we do come today bearing some very good news: The series returns to FX tonight with a new episode entitled “Blood Bath.”
Now, we imagine many out there having a strong reaction to this particular installment just based on the title alone. It conveys that some terrible things are going to happen, and without giving away too much, we can for sure tell you that you’re likely to at least see another couple of shocking moments. Stanley’s quest to collect some members of the Freak Show for his exhibit is still in full effect, and getting just one of them will not satisfy.
Also, we kind of are hoping for a big episode tonight from Michael Chiklis, mostly because of how he is doing the FX circuit right now. Last night, he became the final major actor from “The Shield” to make a cameo appearance on “Sons of Anarchy,” a move that Kurt Sutter previously vowed he would never do.
In getting back to “Blood Bath,” be sure to set your DVRs for an extra six minutes or so, if they are not set to it already. The show will run a little long, but not anywhere near as long as the two hours that we had for the aforementioned Kurt Sutter series last night. (That clocked in at two hours, and the series finale could end up being even longer than that somehow.)
We’ll be back tonight with a full review of this episode; our coverage is not over!
