‘Glee’ season 6: Darren Criss heading to NewNowNext Awards as host
It was announced today that the actor, best known for playing Blaine Anderson on the Fox musical-comedy, is going to be the host for the upcoming NewNowNext Awards on Logo TV. There are a bevy of other scheduled celebrities on the night, and they include the likes of Kristin Chenoweth, Jessie J, Katie Stevens of “Faking It,” and Michael J. Fox. This show recognizes a variety of different talents, though Logo as a network specifically caters to the LGBTQ community.
This will actually be the time you’ve really see Criss on TV this fall, given that you will not get a chance to see the final season of “Glee” in any capacity until Friday, January 9 on Fox. That is the two-hour premiere, and it will run for eleven weeks before capping things off with a two-hour series finale of its own.
This awards show is going to be in Miami, and Criss is going to spend a good bit of time this week rehearsing. As you would expect, he, like many other actors who are a part of this show, are currently in the process of really plotting out what some of their future is going to be once this show is completely. Filming is not that far away from being over now.
