‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 2 spoilers: Meet Thomas Jefferson!

The latest -Last night, “Sleepy Hollow” ended the first part of its second season with what was a bevy of shockers. We’re still deciding which caught us off-guard more: Irving being killed after the swordfight, or Henry deciding that he was going to murder Moloch rather than destroy his biological family.

Sadly, we cannot sit here and give you information that frankly doesn’t exist about the future of these stories. However, we can at least tell you who on the show is going to be playing another one of the founding fathers. According to TVLine, “Wings” alum Steven Weber has been cast to play Thomas Jefferson in at least one of the later episodes this season, and should command the screen in quite a powerful way. While there is no official date in which you can expect the character to appear, he will not waste a whole lot of time before making his presence felt.

This series has already established itself as one with quite an interest in bringing forth some important founding fathers in various roles. After all, George Washington has been a key player on the show since the very beginning, and at the same time, we also saw Benjamin Franklin for a good while during the early part of this season. It is a little crazy that Ichabod Crane was well-connected like this during his time in the Revolution, but we’re not going to be particularly upset over getting to see so many familiar faces in such a short period of time.

There is no official return date for “Sleepy Hollow” just yet, but these new episodes should start up in January.
