‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 2 fall finale: In stopping Henry, Katrina is the key
In just a matter of a few short hours from right now, the season 2 midseason finale for “Sleepy Hollow” will have arrived on Fox. What is there to say about it? Quite a bit really, but much of it can be summed up within one very simple world: Intense. There is going to be some extremely crazy stuff going down on the show tonight, as we find out more and more about these characters, and where they are truly aligned.
The show’s producers have been kind enough to tee up some of what you can expect to see on this episode right now, and speaking per TV Guide, co-executive producer Albert Kim stresses that if there is one person capable of slowing down Henry and his plans, it is his mother Katrina:
“Henry has proven that he is clearly on the side of evil. He is the Horseman of War. He’s the servant of Moloch. And yet, if he has a soft spot at all, it’s Katrina, his mother … She is our way to reach him, and if there’s any hope of having Henry either repent or turn against Moloch, it’s going to come from Katrina.”
In some ways, this is almost the paradox when it comes to the Katrina character. She is the most capable way of stopping Henry and in turn Moloch, but consequently, this also puts her the most danger. If Moloch realizes the position that Katrina has and the power she holds, he will be keen to target her almost immediately.
