‘Supernatural’ season 10, episode 8 video: Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, and a struggle for clues

For the most part, what we have heard about Tuesday night’s new episode of “Supernatural” season 10 is that Jody Mills is going to be at least somewhat in the spotlight. The beloved Sheriff is returning for what is supposedly going to be in a more comedic episode in “Hibbing 911” than she has done previously. We expect intrigue, but at the same time a few interesting, action-packed moments as well.

The sneak peek below actually has to do with something a little more related to the long-term story, and that is Dean (Jensen Ackles) trying to figure out with the help of Sam (Jared Padalecki) how to get rid of a certain mark. Unfortunately, the two learn that while the Men of Letters have resources on almost anything and everything in the known world, they somehow missed out when it comes to having what they are looking for here.

Therefore, we expect to see the two guys on a quest to figure out this one for at least a little while longer, and we can only hope that they will be figuring it out at some point before the end of the season. Sooner or later, we want to see the show tackle a completely-new mythology, and hopefully this time something that the Winchesters can take on together without being separated physically or emotionally.

We’ll probably have a little more of that in the midseason finale; as for this episode in particular, it’s probably best to just approach it with an expectation for fun and little else.
