‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 6 notes: Latest on Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev

It’s no doubt that this has been a fairly quiet week when it comes to stories pertaining to “The Vampire Diaries,” and this is a trend that is probably going to very much continue as we press into the next few days.

With that being said, we’ve at least got a couple of small stories related to the show, and are worth your attention either just for fun, or for trying to help a good cause.

For example, do you want to have a chance to meet Ian Somerhalder? There are only a handful of days left in order to enter his new contest over on his Omaze page, where you you can benefit his foundation (which tackles a variety of different environmental causes). The grand prize winner will get a chance to go to Georgia, spend some time with Ian, and even film a special scene with him.

As for Nina Dobrev, this is more related to Thanksgiving. Remember that whole Friendsgiving plot on the show when it last aired? In a post on WhoSay, you can see Nina celebrate her own version of the show’s “holiday” with Jessica Szohr, Chace Crawford, and others in Dallas. There’s ironically a big CW connection here, given that the latter two stars were both a part of “Gossip Girl” for so many years.

The next new episode of “The Vampire Diaries” is going to be a big one for the Bonnie character, and it has already filmed. We’re going to have some more updates on the show, so stay tuned.
