‘The Walking Dead’ season 5, episode 8 (midseason finale) video: Mary’s Bible; Bob’s leg

Who wants to see a cameo appearance from Bob on Sunday night’s “The Walking Dead” episode? Well, you at least get a chance to see the man’s leg, which apparently was not completely finished off by the crew at Terminus.

To say that the sneak peek below is strange would be an understatement, given that we are lingering a rather long time on this, and on a character in Father Gabriel who has yet to make a whole lot of sense on the show. We don’t know what he is up to, but he does seem to have a good deal of curiosity about the former residents of this town. Apparently, even one of them in Mary B. was religious, given that he found a Bible with a page torn out of it.

We tried to look into the page that was seemingly missing here to see if there is any significance, and maybe if you stretched it, 2 Chronicles 10 is a story about the Israelis rebelling against Rehoboam. Could you draw a parallel between them and Rick’s crew rebelling against Gareth and company?

There is not too much else to say about this sneak peek other than that Gabriel is a weird dude, and we hope that there are some better answers in regards to what he is truly up to before we make it to the end of the road tomorrow night. If he dies without any further explanation, then this whole character may very well be a waste of time.
