‘The Fall’ season 2, episode 4 preview: Jamie Dornan, Gillian Anderson face further trouble
Can you believe that we are already at the halfway point of “The Fall” season 2? That is something that is to us more than a difficult pill to swallow. The show is so intense and so great, we at least wish that it would last as long as some other British shows like “Downton Abbey” or “Call the Midwife.”
Unfortunately, that’s not happening, but at least the mental battle between Gibson and Spector is ongoing. For a little while tonight, we were a little worried that this game was going to come to a close. Luckily, that was proven to not be the case. Stella was not entirely successful, and Jamie Dornan’s character is still on the run.
With that being said, expect a big move this coming episode, as a move by Spector may be all of the leverage that Gibson means to get close to capturing the character once and for all.
Want to see some specific news in terms of what you can expect? Then just take a look at the official synopsis that is coming in via BBC Two today:
“Gibson (Gillian Anderson) reports to Burns (John Lynch) that their confrontation in her hotel room may have been witnessed by Paul Spector (Jamie Dornan).
“Gibson is further shocked to discover that Spector has been paying visits to one of his surviving victims in hospital. Seizing on the opportunity, Gibson finally locates Spector and puts him under surveillance.
“When a body matching the missing Rose Stagg (Valene Kane) is discovered, Gibson’s success is short lived as she is forced to face her worst fears.”
All we can hope for here is a heck of a few minutes that tells the rest of Gibson’s story in a great way.
