‘MasterChef Junior’ season 2, episode 4 preview: An egg-xact science
While there may be many shows that are going off the air this week due to the Thanksgiving holiday this week, there is some good news for all of you foodies: There is more in the way of “MasterChef Junior.”
The first challenge that the young cooks are going to face this time around is a tricky one, given that you’ve got only ten minutes in order to make the perfect sunny-side-up egg. That’s not easy. Then again, we imagine that some are better judges of this than us, given that we prefer our eggs to be a little less on the runny side.
As for the second challenge, it is one that relies on a little more imagination. Not only are the young cooks going to be making a signature dish, but they will also be showing the judges what their dream restaurant someday would be. This means that we’ll get to take a peek into the minds of some of the young contestants, and see everything from pictures to long descriptions of what their ideal eateries would look like. It should be fun!
Basically, this is the sort of show that is always going to go for a bright, inspiring tone, and we expect that to stay that way the rest of the season. Young cooks will be eliminated, but never in a cruel way. Instead, this is going to be mostly about encouraging the cooks to be their best, and hopefully there will be a worthy winner at the end.
