‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 6 spoilers: Nina Dobrev, Kat Graham get festive

Are you ready for the holiday season? We sure hope so, given that Christmas is really not that far away at this point. Thursday marks Thanksgiving, and that marks what we really consider to be the kick-off point for everyone in America. (Canadians have been probably preparing for a week or two now.)

Christmas also means a chance to watch some holiday episodes of many of your favorite shows, and there is in particular an interesting installment of “The Vampire Diaries” coming up on The CW! Here is what we know right now. “Christmas Through Your Eyes” is the title of the hour, and we are going to spend at least a reasonable part of this story going back in time to when the characters were still in high school. That is why Kat Graham’s Bonnie is seen in the picture above, first posted by TV Guide, with longer hair. Maybe she is out of her prison-of-sorts by the time this episode airs two weeks from Thursday, but this is no evidence on way or another.

Still, it should be fun to see some happier times for Nina Dobrev and Candice Accola’s characters, even if it feels right now like this was mostly added to the proceedings to make things feel a little more like Christmas for the holidays, and for little other reason.

There is no new episode of the show airing on The CW this week, so just go ahead and be prepared for a little more waiting.
