‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 7, episode 12: Charlie Hunnam’s Jax set a meeting (photo)

While you may be waiting until a week from Tuesday in order to watch the penultimate episode of “Sons of Anarchy” entitled “Red Rose,” we did want to give you something to look forward to right now: A photo that shows a discussion we really wish we could be in the room for.

There have to be few people who have a greater pit in their stomach, besides Jax, over the whole Gemma situation than Unser. This is a man who wanted to support her and do things for her for most of the past several years, this blindside has to sting … especially since he’s had some of the pieces at his disposal for a while.

So what is the purpose of this Charlie Hunnam – Dayton Callie photo? We cannot see Jax killing Unser, and there is no real reason for him to. (Plus, we’re starting to think that this guy is going to be the cockroach of this show and never die.) With that being said, maybe Jax views him as a source of information, since he did know Gemma so well and could have a clue where she is going.

Or, maybe Jax wants to get law enforcement involved, and Unser is a real bridge to make that happen.

In the end, though, we are not entirely sure that even Jax has any clue what he wants to do when it comes to Gemma. He hates what she did, but at the same time, part of him is dealing with conflicting emotions. He’s only human, and the fact that there is such a storm within him is a credit to the writers and Charlie’s performance.
