‘The Fall’ season 2 spoilers: When will Gillian Anderson, Jamie Dornan face off?
There are a whole lot of reasons why you should enjoy BBC Two’s “The Fall,” but the biggest one is merely that it is a heck of a show. You’ve got nuanced performances, a strong script, and moments that will truly move you as you see Gibson try using everything she can to figure out if she can really stop the notorious Paul Spector.
Is she going to be able to at some point this season? We suppose that the jury is still at least partially out when it comes to this one. However, we can at least tell you that we are going to see the intensity reach yet another level for the upcoming season 2 finale, which is airing on December 18. This is when Gillian Anderson and Jamie Dornan’s characters are going to be face to face, and some of the sparks are truly going to fly.
Unfortunately, you have to wonder whether or not Rose was a casualty of the time it took Gibson to find him.
The BBC released a synopsis for this fall this past week, and you can read a little bit all about it below:
“Gibson’s (Gillian Anderson) investigation leads her to Spector’s (Jamie Dornan) lair.
“Gibson’s investigation leads her to Spector’s lair, but there is no sign of Rose Stagg (Valene Kane). Increasingly desperate to find Rose, Gibson instructs her team to step up the interviews with Katie (Aisling Franciosi), Sally Ann (Bronagh Waugh) and Paul Spector.
“However, it is only when Spector makes a final play to remain in control that Gibson is offered any sort of answers. As Gibson and Spector finally come face-to-face, both have a chance to look in the eyes of their nemesis, and both have their own battles to win.”
Of course, we’re still waiting to see if this ends up becoming the series as well as season finale. After all, the BBC show’s cast is extremely busy, with Gillian on “Hannibal” and with Jamie of course being Christian Grey.
